The Arcitype in !llmind's B.L.A.P. Event Sept. 8, 2010

The Arcitype will be a featured producer in Illmind's B.L.A.P. Event in NYC on September 8, 2010. He will sit alongside producers Juicytheemissary, Brian Lawson, Cloud and G-Whiz and play beats and tracks he has produced. If you are in the NYC area on Sept. 8, make it a point to try to stop in. There's no cover and there's sure to be some very dope production being slung!

The Arcitype battles in Philly Red Bull Big Tune Competition

AR Classic producer, The Arcitype, battled in this year's Red Bull Big Tune Beat Battle in Philadelphia.

This is arguably the biggest beat battle in the nation and took place Tuesday May 18th, 2010 at World Café Live. The Philadelphia battle was the first of the Red Bull Big Tune, which will visit 8 other cities including Los Angeles, Seattle and Detroit. The winning producers from each qualifying competition advance to the national final in Chicago this fall. Winner of the Chicago final will be given the opportunity to create the ultimate 'big tune' with an A-list artist of one's choice at the prestigious Red Bull Studios in Los Angeles.

The Arcitype made it through the first round of competition (which is not shown in this video) and was knocked out in the second round by the very talented producer, Vanderslice, out of Phoenixville, PA.

The Arcitype had the opportunity to meet super producers, Just Blaze, The Alchemist, Jake-One, Vitamin-D, and Illmind, as well as emcees, Philly Freeway and Big Noyd.

The support Red Bull has shown The Arcitype is only further evidence of the impact this producer's music has on people.

AR Classic Records given love by Local Blogs!

AR Classic Records was shown some love for their set at this year's Boston Unity Fest by Boston artist, Catch Wreck and Boston graphic designer, Jake Leidolf. AR was one of the many crews to open up for Jay Electronica and the legendary Jeru The Damaja. Props to Catch for the kind words.

Dominik Omega's "The Missing Piece" EP Free Download!

Be sure to check out the new free EP from Dominik Omega entitled, "The Missing Piece". The album's five tracks showcases not only Omega's raw talent, but also features the lyrical talents of label mates, Carolina Black and Viceversah, as well as the vocal stylings of Kiki.

The Arcitype in Top 10 Finalists in Duck Down NBA2K11 Competition!

The Arcitype has been selected as one of the top ten finalists in the Duck Down Records/2K Sports NBA 2k11 Producers Competition. There were over 500 submissions and A&Rs from Duck Down selected The Arcitype's beat as one of the best.

You can now vote for The Arcitype's beat by CLICKING HERE. He's number 9 on the list and you can even watch a video of him making the beat in the studio. Voting ends at noon on Monday April 5th, so get as many votes in for The Arcitype as you can before then!!
